this is what happened to our homeboy, Bertram. hope you have a speedy recovery man, for you and your bike. Damn there goes that Samson fork 😦

“Yo Bum i met with an accident on e way to town!!! So happen that today day i decided to wear helmet among all the Fixed gear riders hahahahaha…anyway im fine and escape without a single scratch!!! but well as for my bikes there is a file attachment on it on my bike damage. Plz help me post on Crankarmsteady blog to tell the rest to ride saftley and be more alert!!! Thnx i will be out for at least 4 to 5 month i guess. Ride safe and Ride soon!!!

Here is the whole sceniaro:

I was coming up to Penang lane near the Chicago GSB school, i was on the outer right lane squeezing through the heavy traffic upon coming back to the Left lane this cab was cutting towards the right side. Going to the exit that leads to Serangoon i guess i didnt notice him amidst the heavy traffic suddenly i hear a horn and i manage to release my toe clips and slightly jump out of my bike before bang!!!Rest is history, anyway i escape without any scratches but my poor Samson fork is gone!!! : (“

    Thnx Holger, yeah very lucky to survive!!!it was like a horn and bang together. My Roadie friend saw the whole thing take place but lucky he was there to help me out!!! It was kinda of a side by side collison but his front wheel went over my fork i saw it and i was like WTF!!!

    glad you’re alright bert. samson fork strong as hell. or shud i say steel forks. if it was carbon, you would’ve seen it crushed into dust. =p wish u a speedy recovery bro.
