Gordon Claughton

We received a comment from a certain Gordon Claughton earlier today and we could not be more stoked. Why?
Because that certain Gordon Claughton is the guy on the extreme left, about to pass a drink to one of the riders.

Also in the photo on the extreme right and leading the pack is our boy Yasin Rahim‘s late uncle – Mansor Sawi.
We are looking forward to hearing from Mr. Gordon Claughton soon. We are talking about Singaporean cycling history right here!

Hi Abang Wan. This is Yasin. Great to see you here on the site. Quite a surprise really. Do you have any memorabilia or photos that I can put up so that I can showcase the history of cycling in Singapore?

Anyways, I’m currently in touch with Mr. Claughton. Hopefully he’s got some more photos with him to pass to me.

The cycling scene was a vibrant one in that era as told by arwah daddy and your dad. Abang Hilmi has some of the old stuff. Let me talk to him about it. Good to see you here and not far off the family hobbies!
